The connection between the Lweza Center of Community Health Initiatives (LCCHI) and a local private elementary and primary school in the Kabembe-Mbaliga area has been a foundation of the efforts in the community. Efforts to support the school with emphasis on vocational training activities are ongoing.
 
Plans are to eventually link the school with the LCCHI by developing a hands-on curriculum that utilizes the Lweza Agriculture Resource Demonstration Center (LARDC) as a teaching site on practical science-based education and with the health center practical health education programs.
